This meeting will be held in a hybrid format. Some staff will be in-person, however, it is anticipated that the voting members will be virtual. Virtual participation is allowed for any participant, including staff and the public.

1. | 2025-2028 Transportation Improvement Program Amendment #5 This TIP amendment includes the addition and revision of costs and schedules for bike/ped infrastructure and roadway projects. The TIP was available for public comment from March 17 - April 1. No public comments were received. ACTION: Recommend approval of FFY 2025-2028 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendment 5 |
2. | Discuss Countywide Bike Plan Update Planning The current Countywide Bike Plan was adopted in 2019 and is due for an update. The Countywide plan addresses cycling goals and expectations in Eudora, Baldwin City, and the unincorporated areas of Douglas County. Goals in the previous plan included increasing separation on roadways, expanding bicycle networks, and adding complete street policies. This update process will be led by the MPO in coordination with staff from these communities. There will be multiple opportunities for community feedback including surveys, focus groups, tabling opportunities, and a public comment period. | 7 - 8 |
